Bruce Lee was not fond of playing the Asian butler in the Green Hornet.
But it did give him a gateway to demonstrate his martial arts to the country.
One interesting note is when the stars of the Green Hornet had to face Batman
and Robin. The producers wanted Robin to win the fight against Bruce Lee,
but Bruce refused arguing that nobody in America would ever believe that Bruce
would lose to Robin. The producers allowed the fight to end in a draw but
word has it that the actor playing Robin was scared to death that Bruce was
going to kill him.
